We do not typically work with startups or businesses looking for early-stage advice.
How long does an engagement take?
Depending on the service, engagements typically run between six and ten weeks. Heritage Property Consulting runs eight to ten weeks, Retail Heritage Advisory seven to nine weeks, and Small Business Heritage Strategy six to eight weeks. These timelines allow for site visits, thorough examination, and a considered written report.
What do I receive at the end of an engagement?
All engagements conclude with a written report that documents our observations, the context we examined, and our recommendations. For Heritage Property Consulting, this also includes notes from site visits. The report is yours to retain and share internally as you see fit.
What is the fee structure and payment terms?
Our engagement fees are MYR 2,180 for Heritage Property Consulting, MYR 1,540 for Retail Heritage Advisory, and MYR 470 for Small Business Heritage Strategy. Payment arrangements are discussed and agreed upon at the start of the engagement. We can discuss phased payments for longer engagements if that is helpful.
Do you work outside of Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. Our work covers heritage districts across Malaysia, including George Town in Penang, Melaka's historic city, Ipoh Old Town, and other culturally significant commercial areas. Travel for site visits where required is discussed as part of the engagement setup.
Is the initial enquiry confidential?
Yes. Any information you share with us during an initial conversation is treated with discretion. We do not share client details or business information with third parties. If we move forward with an engagement, a formal confidentiality arrangement is part of our standard documentation.
